My name is
Susanne Birkmose Søndergaard, and I
am a state authorised translator and interpreter.
I hold a
Master’s degree (MA) in Translation
and Interpretation from Copenhagen Business School, 1996.
I am certified by the Danish Commerce and Companies
Agency (Erhvervs- og Selskabsstyrelsen). As translator and interpreter
in English I can offer professional assistance to companies as well as
private persons who need help with:
- translation from English into Danish and vice
versa
- proofreading, Danish and English
- language revision
- development of presentation material
- various administrative tasks
As a state authorised translator I am entitled to certify documents
(stamp) needed e.g. for some legal documents.
I am a member of the Danish Translators’ Association and therefore
covered by a professional liability insurance.
As a translator I am bound to professional secrecy and thus will treat
all information and documents as strictly confidential.
My professional experience includes 12 years as Personal Assistant with
a large Danish healthcare company.
In my work as freelance translator I make use of various professional
translation tools, e.g. SDL Trados 2007, as well as my own customer-
and subject-specific databases. This ensures a high translation quality
as well as a result which is both uniform and tailored to the
individual client’s needs.
